About the event
The “Best of Tankio Band” concert offers a selection of songs belonging to the repertoire of original compositions by Riccardo Fassi from the CDs “Serial Killer” and “Seven Pieces For Large Ensemble”, by Frank Zappa, from the CD of the same name, and from the new program dedicated to the music of Antonello Salis. That is, the most significant pieces of the programs performed in recent years, which demonstrate the group's dedication to an original and innovative path. The orchestra, among the most important jazz orchestras in our country, has been voted among the ten best Italian jazz ensembles several times by critics in the annual referendum held by the magazine "Musica Jazz".
