About the event
Edward Abbiati, born in Portsmouth, England to an English mother and a father from Certosa. Former leader of Lowlands with whom he played throughout Europe for 10 years, from Stockholm to Galway and from London to Rome, recording about ten albums. Roots Rock which took Indie turns (“me and the devil” with Chris Cacavas and Garage Punk (ACC with Stiv Cantarelli). In November 2019, the first solo album under his name was released (“Beat The Devil” – IRD Distribution), already “Disco First choice of Rootshighway”, an album “recommended” by Paolo Carù and in 2023 “To the Light”, an ideal “electric” continuation ” of the previous one (this album also recommended Buscadero and Disco Rootshighway). “To The Light” is the eleventh (not counting EP, Live and Collections!) album made by Edward Abbiati (7 with Lowlands, 1 with ACC, 1 with Chris Cacavas). Ten songs full of sounds, colors and energy that complete the story…
