Of: the fairy tale of one of the greatest Italian writers, whose celebrations for the centenary of his birth have just ended, tells of a king, Clovis, who on returning home from the war gets lost, together with the whole army, in the inextricable forest that has grown around the capital. A forest that is like a labyrinth, with roots that look like branches and branches that look like roots. And together with the king and the army, the second wife Ferdibunda and the minister Curvaldo also go missing, among them accomplices in a conspiracy against the sovereign himself, the good daughter Verbena and her lover Mirtillo.
