Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same

The Song Remains the Same, a film directed by Peter Clifton and Joe Massot, was created for the cinema by the band members themselves. On this occasion, Led Zeppelin's manager, Peter Grant, interrupted the group's holidays to summon them to Madison Square Garden in New York for a concert. The film is dedicated to this concert and shows the dreamlike visions of each member of the group with various dreams and delusions, such as the very disorienting opening scene the first time Peter Grant, dressed as a 1930s gangster, arrives in a Ford black from the same period and makes a massacre with a machine gun. Flashes of the personal lives of the band members are also shown, filmed backstage, retracing their "private hallucinations", narrated through animated sequences created specifically for the film.
