About the event
The film by Gianluca Santoni, the only Italian in competition, will be the opening film of RIFF 2024. It will be presented to the public by Andrea Lattanzi, Barbara Ronchi, Andrea Sartoretti and, expectedly, also the French Saints, authors of the soundtrack.
SESTRI LEVANTE (GE), 5 April 2024 –Me and the dry will open the Riviera International Film Festival on May 7th in Sestri Levante. The film will be the only Italian film in the official competition reserved for works by directors under 35 and will be previewed at Riff before being distributed in all Italian cinemas on May 23rd by EuroPictures.
In addition to the director Gianluca Santoni, supporting the film will be the protagonists Barbara Ronchi (winner of the David di Donatello in 2023 for September, of the Ciak D'oro and the Nastro D'argento for Kidnapped), Andrea Lattanzi (Summertime, The turning point, Thank you guys) and Andrea Sartoretti (among others, Nevermind, It never rains in Tor Bella Monaca, September, The Prince of Rome).
