The Parish Maria
mother of the Church
The Parish of Mary Mother of the Church was founded in 1967. It is located in the southern area of the Gratosoglio district. The care is entrusted first to the diocesan priests, then to the Barnabite religious and finally again to the diocesan clergy from the year 2011 in which it became part of the Gratosoglio pastoral community with the parish of s. Barnabas. The Parish of Mary Mother of the Church, one of the rare meeting points for the life of the Gratosoglio district, even totally deprived of cultural spaces such as bookstores and libraries, offers at an educational level, in its oratorian proposal, a series of initiatives and activities that are sometimes not only to carry out paths of a markedly confessional nature but also support activities for minors and their families with specific attention to those at risk of marginalization. In particular, an after-school program for elementary school children, an Italian course for foreign mothers, once for families for mothers or grandmothers in the neighborhood and children aged 0-3. Recreational theatrical and artistic workshops for adolescents, sports activities in partnership with the Assone Sportiva Dilettantistica La Fenice born in the parish context, summer entertainment, education for peace and integration with the initiative of the Campus of Education for Peace, education courses on legality in collaboration with LIBERA. Since 2017 the Parish has promoted and managed the network gathered around the table called "Social Table for Gratosoglio" for the redevelopment of the neighborhood and was the territorial contact person for the realization of the Frida Event from 10 to 13 May 2018 in the 2018 edition of Milan Food-City.
The Little Prince Association
The Piccolo Principe Association was founded on April 2, 2008 by a group of professionals eager to share experiences of growth and training with children. We work with a staff composed of educators, psychologists and pedagogists. We create and propose prevention projects in school and out of school hours. The minors and their families are the first point of contact for us and determine all our projects. The work carried out in recent years has been consolidated above all in Zone 5 in Milan and this has allowed us to build a network of collaboration with many local services: we operate on the local social table (since its establishment), specifically the sub-table minors, we have developed projects with other realities of the same table, we work with social and therapeutic services. We work and collaborate with private companies in Milan of great professionalism and competence. Our projects are developed both in the school and in the extracurricular field. Since our birth we have after-school services for minors aged 8 to 15, prevention projects in primary and secondary schools, listening desks for teachers and families, parenting support interventions. For several years, collaborating with the ALM Association (through the mountains), we have been carrying out annual educational projects in schools with the presence of the educator in the classroom, which use the mountains as a tool for personal growth and training. Since 2013 we have intensified our cooperation with the oratory of the Parish of Mary Mother of the Church in whose spaces we manage some of our projects. Since 2018, the Parish has entrusted us with the selection, care and economic management of personnel for its more specialized educational projects, precisely because of the synergy and sharing of intentions and practices.

In the 2017 edition it availed itself of the patronage of the Cariplo Foundation and in 2018 of the funding agreed by the Holy Father Francis through the United World Foundation at the Holy See.
